New long-term preservation profile

At the request of clients, the MitSoft team is developing a new profile for qualified long-term preservation services.

This profile will feature the essential characteristics of both profiles currently on offer:

• As is the case when selecting a protection profile without storage (MitSoftQWOS), documents will be stored within the client’s infrastructure.
• As is the case when choosing a protection profile with storage (MitSoftQWST), the client does not need to worry about when to update the document’s preservation evidence—the MitSoft service will request the document that requires augmenting.

Expanding the set of profiles will not affect work with the currently supported profiles (MitSoftQWST and MitSoftQWOS).

We will offer the new profile to clients as soon as we receive approval from the auditors and the National Supervisory Body of qualified trust service providers (Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania).
